2-4 Year Olds – Wed 3:30pm to 4:15pm (Parents must remain for the duration of the class) (Starts 12/10/22)
5-7 Year Olds – Tues and Thurs 4:00pm to 5:00pm.
8+ Year Olds – Tues and Thurs 5:00pm to 6:00pm.
Letterkenny Community Centre offers a wide range of junior soccer classes for boys and girls from ages 5 and up. Learn new skills, play fun games and train within a team.
Choose from a number of different forms of martial arts. These fun classes are great for training, self-defense, discipline or fitness.
Jiu Jitsu – Wed 5:00pm – 6:00pm (5-7 year olds)
Wed 6:00pm – 7:00pm (8-12 year olds)
Karate – Fri 7:00pm – 8:00pm

Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art, combat sport and self-defense system that focuses on grappling and especially ground fighting. Jiu Jitsu promotes the concept that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend against a bigger, stronger assailant by using proper technique and leverage. The Donegal Jiu-Jitsu Federation classes are taught by Renshi Josie Murray who is a 5th Dan Black Belt in Jikishin Jiu Jitsu and who is also affiliated to the world famous Gracie Jiu-Jitsu family in Brazil. Josie has won Gold at the world.

Karate – Fri 7:00pm – 8:00pm
Adults welcome if at Beginner Level.
Karate is a Japanese martial art whose physical aspects seek the development of defensive and counterattacking body movements. The themes of traditional karate training are fighting and self-defense, though its mental and moral aspects target the overall improvement of the individual.

TEEN Fitness Classes
Stats Wednesday the 4th of October
The Teen Fitness Class aims to introduce young people to a fitness environment who may not be able to join the gym but would have an interest.
Our fun physical training sessions specifically designed for teenagers involve 45 minutes of cardiovascular and weighted exercises and is aimed at boosting speed, strength and core stability (which is also ideal for improving sports performance).
Exercise also has profound health benefits for adolescents – increased energy, healthy weight and it can also lead to improved academic performance. Not only that, there are numerous mental health benefits particularly in relation to depression and encouraging improved self-perception, confidence and of course MOOD!
Wednesdays 4.30pm – 5.30pm.
Costs €4 per class.
