LCC Adult Exercise Classes
The following seven LCC classes are included in our Gym & Classes Membership or cost €6 per class to non-members.
1. Tums & Bums – Tues & Thurs 6:15pm – 7:00pm
A body toning class incorporating all the core muscle groups including standing and floor based exercises and finishing with tai chi stretching.
2. Morning Movers – Tues & Thurs 9:45am – 10:45am
Come along to this fun and friendly class. Meet new friends and get a great workout as well. This class is just what it says, it is a mixture of all types of exercises, very effective and loads of fun.
3. Circuits – Mon, Wed, Fri 6:00pm – 7:00pm
The ultimate all-round workout incorporating both aerobic and strength training. A variety of different exercises that will get you fit and in shape.
4. Lunchtime HIIT Class – Tue & Wed 1:00pm – 1:30pm
Intense half hour workout conveniently scheduled during lunchtime.

Senior Fitness Classes
All our Senior Classes are priced at €3 per class and are availabe to over 50’s.
Better Lung Classes (Rehab Group)
Mondays and Fridays 11:15am – 12 noon.
Exercise & Socialise
Tuesdays and Thursdays 11:15am – 12 noon.
Running
Build up your stamina and be able to complete a 5k.
Entry Requirements
Couch to 5K – Mon, Tues & Thurs 6:30pm
(Keep an eye on Facebook or our Whats On? Section to know when a new 8 week course is about to begin!)
In 8 weeks you will be amazed by what you achieve and you can do a full 5k. New runners can attend any of the first few weeks of the term.
Adults: €3 a class or €60 for a 8 week course.
13-18 year olds: €2
Under 12’s: Free
Run For Fun – Mon, Tues & Thurs 7:10pm
Suitable for Couch to 5K Graduates.
€3 per class.

Martial Arts
The 1595 Fencing Club – Tue 8:00pm-10:00pm
Historical European Martial Arts
Entry requirements: 16 years old and up
The 1595 Club is a martial arts school dedicated to the practice and study of the fighting arts of Europe. The club’s approach to the art of Fence offers:
• A full martial system: ranging from unarmed combat to the study and practice of historical weapons. (unarmed not currently running due to COVID-19 restrictions)
• The study of authentic swordsmanship and the art of arms
.• A practical and effective form of self-defence.
• The promotion and philosophy of respect and goodwill.

Kickboxing – Wed 7:00pm – 8:30pm
The Donegal Kickboxing Club is taught by Renshi Josie Murray.
Kickboxing is a stand-up combat sport based on punching and kicking. This class is excellent for those who want to train for competition, self-defense or even just general fitness.

Jiu Jitsu – Wed 8:30pm – 10:00pm
Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art, combat sport and self-defense system that focuses on grappling and especially ground fighting. Jiu Jitsu promotes the concept that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend against a bigger, stronger assailant by using proper technique and leverage. The Donegal Jiu-Jitsu Federation classes are taught by Renshi Josie Murray who is a 5th Dan Black Belt in Jikishin Jiu Jitsu and who is also affiliated to the world famous Gracie Jiu-Jitsu family in Brazil. Line Dancing is a fun and easy way to learn a dance style that requires no partner. It’s a fantastic way to keep fit and a relaxed social night out. Dance to predominantly country music, it’s the alternative that’s suitable for all ages and abilities. Cost €6 per adult or €3 for children, children must be accompanied by an adult.
